wakeboardSTL is a semi-original idea brought to you by Aaron Burlingame, Jimmy Almeter and John Pretti. wakeboardSTL is described as a semi-original idea based on the fact that the originator of an organization like ours is none other than Ronnie Romero of wakeboardNEBRASKA fame. After meeting Ronnie and understanding what he does for the wakeboarding community in general and wakeboarding in Nebraska, we decided that, hey it's about time we contribute back to the sport we love and give all of the wakeboarders in the St. Louis metro area and surrounding regions a chance to share our passion for wakeboarding through "grass roots" events and happenings.

For the record, it should be stated that none of us at wakeboardSTL are expert or pro-caliber riders (even though we have had the pleasure of meeting and working with a lot of them over the years). We are your average Joe's who got a couple of tricks in the bag and are continuing to progress each season. Afterall, pushing each other without the intimidation is what it's all about. If you come to one of our events or clinics, you get to ride at your comfort level without having to worry about someone making fun of you. We will be as equally stoked if you are just hanging out, just learning to ride or landing your first roll. So if you have a chip on your shoulder or an attitude, please leave it at home.

We have a lot of original ideas (which are too original to let out of the bag yet) for 2007 and look forward to hopefully seeing you at all of the wakeboardSTL sponsored events in the very near future.
