Summer School Canceled - May 10, 2008

I know we are sad too, but due to the 57 inches of rain we have had over the last two days, the water levels are too high both at our lake and on the river. This means we have to cancel classes for Saturday May 10, 2008.

Usually most people are pumped about missing school, but not us. Anyway, we hope to see you all at the end of the month for Wakeboard 103. Thats where the fun starts anyway. We apologize for the late notice and any inconveniences. This event will not be rescheduled.

CAMO FRIDAY

For camo friday, johnny p and myself made it out in the windy, but favorable conditions. All in all it was really fun. We really loaded down the boat, and it was great. We filled up the fly high for the first time this year to test out the new prop. It was a pretty good upgrade. I rode it last year, but did not get to really test it. Neadless to say, we were boosting yesterday, cannot wait to get smooth water to really let it rip. Later for now. Jammer

I-L-L-I-N-O-I-S-E

Summer School - Wakeboarding 101, is in the books and we are already getting ready for wakeboarding 102 on May 10, 2008. The location for wakeboarding 102 is yet to be determined, depending on what the river does. Stay tuned here for details or call Stateamind Watersports at 314-731-3795 as details develop.

Anyway, we had eight brave souls come out and try the waters on this past Saturday. Most looked happy to be riding, but did not look too happy to be cold. With air temps in the low sixties and water temps in the fifties, all classmates took full advantage of their time on the water and were able to hopefully go home with some things to work on.

All in all, we had a blast and we want to say THANKS to the brave students who showed up, without you all, it would not be possible for us to do what we are trying to do.

Pictures will be up by the end of the week and we would like to say CONGRATS to our rider of the session - Jared Rodell. Jared, hope to see you at the next one brother.

Three for Three

The crew has now been at it three days in a row. Wakeboarding that is. Water temps in the low 60s upper 50s. A bit rusty but that is to be expected. I absolutely love my new CWB Marius set up. It rides really good. Im starting to get it dialed in. It is shaping up to be a good season. Johnny P is going to make the switch to a Marius also, and I think Aaron will stay on the Transcend. He seemed to like it on its maiden voyage. First Summer School session, presented by none other than us, wakeboardSTL, is still on for this weekend. If you want to learn from a crew that has extensive training from one of wakeboardings top riders, Shaun Murray, and Pro Tour driver Travis Moye, then this is the clinic for you. Layed back and at your pace. We aim to please and you will no be disapointed. Call Stateamind Water Sports for further details. Or check our Summer School tab in the upper right hand corner.
